I have said from the beginning of this process that I wanted to be a leader for the greater good. During the past 9 months on the campaign trail, I met some amazing Hoosiers and I worked hard to understand issues from many perspectives. The past 9 months have also taught me that now more than ever, Hoosiers deserve more from their government and elected officials.
Therefore, I am announcing today that I will be running to represent Indiana State Senate District 22, serving Tippecanoe County.
While I know many of my supporters in US District 4 may be surprised at this decision, my team and I believe that this is the best path forward for Indiana and Tippecanoe County. With so many critical issues facing us at the state level, I believe I can make an immediate and positive impact in public education, workforce training, tech, health care, equality, and the environment.
As a Hoosier woman, 30 year educator and community advocate, I look forward serving Tippecanoe County and the state of Indiana. Let’s work together, for the greater good.
